Coastline Manufacturing is a British Columbia business that sells physical aftermarket automotive products and provides custom CAD, reverse-engineering, 3D-printing, manufacturing, and related services. This policy applies to personal information Coastline Manufacturing receives through purchases, email communications, local-pickup arrangements, product inquiries, quotes, and service engagements.
Personal Information We May Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, Coastline Manufacturing may receive a customer name, email address, phone number when provided or required, billing address, shipping address, order and transaction details, and information needed to arrange local pickup. We may also retain communications you send to us and vehicle, fitment, project, CAD, design, measurement, scan, reference-part, or other information you voluntarily provide for custom work, quotes, support, or product inquiries.
Payments Through Stripe
Online payments are processed through Stripe. Coastline Manufacturing does not directly store or process customers’ complete payment-card numbers, card security codes, or other full payment-card credentials. Stripe may collect and process payment, billing, shipping, contact, device, fraud-prevention, and transaction information in accordance with Stripe’s services and privacy policy. Stripe’s independent data-processing practices are controlled by Stripe, not Coastline Manufacturing.
How We Use Information
We may use personal information to process and fulfill purchases, arrange shipping and local pickup, and communicate about orders. We may also use it to respond to fitment, product, and customer service questions, prepare quotes, and provide custom engineering or manufacturing services. Information may be used to process refunds, returns, disputes, and warranty matters. We may maintain transaction and business records, prevent fraud, protect the website and business, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements. Customer-provided project information may be used to perform the specific work requested and communicate about its scope, approval, production, and delivery.
Service Providers and Required Disclosures
Personal information may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary to operate the business or meet legal obligations. Relevant recipients may include Stripe for payment processing; Cloudflare for website hosting, DNS, performance, and security; shipping or courier providers when an order is shipped; and professional advisers, insurers, financial institutions, law-enforcement bodies, courts, regulators, tax authorities, or other government authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
The website currently requests fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser retrieves those font files, Google may receive technical request information under its own privacy practices. Service providers may process information in jurisdictions outside British Columbia or Canada and are responsible for their own independent processing where applicable.
Cookies and Website Technology
Coastline Manufacturing does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies on its website. Our hosting, security, payment, and other service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to provide their services, prevent fraud, secure transactions, and operate the website.
